Sosa violates his probation again by suddenly moving to a rich Chicago neighborhood.
Hardly a stranger to controversy, Chief Keef is in legal trouble once again after moving from his old South Side neighborhood to the village of Northbrook, Illinois without informing his probation officer. Northbrook is an affluent North Shore suburb of Chicago, and members of the community have expressed concern over Keef's affiliation with the Black Gangster Disciple Nation.
Infuriating his probation officer with the sudden move, Cook County prosecutors are now attempting to have the rapper locked up. He will appear in court tomorrow to face the charges.
Keef is originally on probation for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after pointing a gun at a police officer in December 2011. He's facing another parole violation hearing on January 28th for an outing at a shooting range in New York chaperoned and documented by Pitchfork Media.
Troubles with the law aside, Keef's debut album Finally Rich has been generally well received by critics, debuting at #29 on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 50,000 copies. If he is indeed finally rich, his legal bills shouldn't be a problem, at least.
